In my recent book I wrote, “It is the apostle Paul who informs us that as we are growing in the land of amazing grace, the Spirit’s influence changes us internally and produces an influencing life (see Gal. 5:22-23). Having the Holy Spirit’s influence and influencing is what it means to be a Christian. One of the key ways we know He is alive in us is seeing our lives connect with others in kind affection and acts of mercy. The joy of His work in us overflows to life around us” (Vital Grace, page 162).

Your kind affection and prayer has influenced the lives of thousands of people around the globe. Our partners have purchased and sent four food containers since 2020 to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Cuba. The Christians there have shared with their neighbors, both members and non-members and the gospel is growing and multiplying. We have plans to ship 2 more containers this year. Like the Antioch Christians who gave gifts to alleviate the famine at Paul’s (the church planter) request, our partners have given over 800,000 meals to care for our Christian brothers and sisters, their children, and others there.

The influence you have is also being felt in the lives of over 50 pastors and planters in over a dozen states, from California to Virginia and New York to Florida, as well as women leaders or pastor’s spouses. This means we influence thousands of people in the USA. We, and they, are deeply grateful for your friendship, partnership, prayer, and financial support that has such a global influence of the gospel.

This most generous God…gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-orbed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God” (2 Cor. 9:10 The Message).
